This is my recipe for whole wheat pizza dough. It’s so yummy, I hope you like it too. I made a live video on my Facebook page of me making it. Here’s the Link to that if you want to see me in action.
1 packet rapid rise yeast
2 cups warm water 💦
1 tbs vital wheat gluten
1 tbs olive oil
1 tbs honey 🍯
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp each of onion powder, garlic powder, basil 🌿 and oregano 🌿
5-6 cups whole wheat flour
Add water and yeast to bowl. Wait 10 minutes for yeast to activate. Add remaining ingredients, and 4 cups of flour. Mix until incorporated or till dough forms a ball. Add additional flour 1/2 cup at a time till a ball forms.
Turn dough out on a floured surface and kneed by hand 3-5 minutes. Add 1 tsp olive oil to a large clean bowl. Add dough and turn to coat. Cover and let rise 30-40 minutes or till doubled in size.
Punch down, divide in two halves. Roll each half and put on pan. Top with pizza sauce and toppings of choice. Bake in 425 oven 11-16 minutes.
